Nabakov stage a night of the living dead

Posted at 3:30 pm, October 28, 2011 in Arts & Entertainment

If you like your horror tinged with cutting edge culture, then look no further this Halloween than the Festival of the Dead at Battersea Arts Centre this weekend. BAC have invited the Nabokov Arts Club to take over their rambling historic premises on Lavender Hill, for two fright-filled nights of artistic tricks and treats on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 October. Nabokov have collaborated with physical theatre ensemble Tangled Feet and playwright Polly Stenham to stage a ritualistic rave up, and an immersive, interactive ghost story is on the cards from Bad Physics. The Mystery Jets will also be playing spooky sounds and fireside poetics will warm the cockles until way past the witching hour. Kirsty McQuire
