The Time Out team has compiled a list of the 101 ultimate things to do in London; each week we highlight one as inspiration for your weekend fun. This week, it’s time for this little piggy to go to market. When in search of the finest seasonal food, the most ethically-sourced produce and more hustle and bustle than you can shake an organic stick of celery at, Borough (above) and Broadway are the weekend stalwarts. For fewer crowds, head to Maltby Street (though not technically a market) where you can have a break from grocery shopping and doughnut quaffing with a glass of wine or a craft beer in the arches. Alexandra Palace provides a north London alternative if you like to shop with a view; for dwellers of the south, the month-old Brockley Market is getting locals talking. But be sure to leave room in your canvas bag for fresher offerings like Chatsworth Road’s Sunday market and be on the alert for occasional pop up affairs, like Charcuterie and Company  which hits the Southbank this weekend.
