Have a sketchy time at the Doodle Bar
Doodle Bar is back by popular demand. This Victorian dairy-turned-venue is that rare thing, a pop-up made permanent. After endearing itself to the artistic community of Battersea with its ‘freedom of doodle’ philosophy a couple of summers back, Doodle Bar is relaunching as a place to draw inspiration both literally and figuratively. There’s a curious and creative line up of talks set for this month, kicking off this Wednesday 2 November with Subterranea Britannica’s Andrew Smith tunneling his way through tales of London’s dormant tube stations and forgotten bunkers. Aphrodisiac plants, taxidermy and edible architecture will all get a look in before the month is out. And no need to take a notebook or sketch pad- the bar is your canvas.
