A John Waters Christmas message
The Pope of Trash is riding into the Royal Festival Hall on his cynical sleigh this December 5 to spread some festive filth with his one-man show, ‘A John Waters Christmas’. Anyone who has seen any John Waters’ films (‘Pink Flamingos’, the original ‘Hairspray’, ‘Cry Baby’, ‘A Dirty Shame’ etc) will know that the master storyteller is sure to deliver a Christmas message with a difference. This legendary monologue will cover an eclectic mix of holiday traditions, religious Santa fanaticism, exploitation Christmas movies and real life holiday horror stories. John warns that he is feeling ‘needy, greedy, horny for presents and filled with an unnatural desire to please’. An xmas treat like no other.
