Storythyme at Dalston Roof GardenStorythyme is an evening event where participants can enjoy fascinating tales with a cracking dinner. A collaboration between All Ears Storytelling (a group dedicated to giving people a platform to share their real life stories) and Funthyme Dining and Events, it’ll be the second time a similar event has been held. It previously took place at the Dalston Roof Park in July (above), but the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club will be the venue this time around on November 22. Offering food for thought will be three speakers – Danny Bartlett on politics, Harry Shaw on his journey from drug addiction through to rehabilitation, and Roman Krznaric on history, living and social change. Alongside, a London-themed menu will be served, making the most of local artisan suppliers; E5 Bakehouse will be providing sourdough bread, which forms part of the Ploughman’s Box of ham hock terrine, stilton, Keen’s cheddar, Funthyme’s scotch egg and own–made apple and tomato chutney. Book now.

Tickets cost £30. For info, see allearsevents.co.uk and funthyme.com
