The thrill of the chase: Hounded at the Soho Theatre

Posted at 6:30 pm, November 4, 2011 in Arts & Entertainment

HoundedIf you were lucky- or unlucky- enough, depending on your perspective, to catch sight of the Zombie Apocalypse roaming round Southwark last week, then you’ll already be acquainted with the work of Bristolian live-gaming masterminds, SlingShot. Whereas the predators of Halloween’s ’2.8 Hours Later’ chase game were the rabid, rancid undead, this time around they’ll be red-coated huntsmen and baying hounds. Cue bugle! ‘Hounded’ (November 11) will transport 100 players back to the ceremonial hunting ground of Henry VIII (conveniently close to host venue, the latterday Soho Theatre). Ticketholders will find themselves cast as that most iconic of quarry, the cunning fox. The Hunt will be in hot pursuit of their bushy-tailed prey, in an interactive scent trail powered by a combination of quick wits and smartphone technology. Are you game? Kirsty McQuire
