Well, how about with some landmarks you probably didn’t even know existed? Le Cool London has teamed up with Fiji Water to create Artesian Walks, a series of tours of London’s hidden rivers guided by a free mobile app and podcast (or plain old printed map, if you’d prefer to shirk technology). The second walk follows the route of the River Neckinger through SE1 (below), and those who take part and share their own finds along the way could win free meals, Christmas hampers and VIP event tickets.

To celebrate the launch of the second walk we are all invited to join the people behind it at the launch party this evening at the Draft House Pub near Tower Bridge. They’re treating us to music from DJs Oliver Keens and Fear of Theydon, plus complimentary drinks courtesy of Palm Breweries.

For walks info, see Le Cool London blog.
