Brickolage: St Pancras Lego Christmas tree stands tall
The tallest ever Lego Christmas tree has been painstakingly constructed and will be bringing festive cheer to miserable travellers in London’s St Pancras station until January 3. Rumour has it that since the dawn of multi-coloured building blocks, enough Lego has since been built to connect the earth with the moon 10 times over and apparently there are 62 Lego bricks for every person in the whole world. This festive Lego fir stands tall at an impressive 10 metres and is made up of a whopping 600,000 bricks, dwarfing last year’s Lanson champagne bottle tree by 3.5 metres. Oh and this one is completely family friendly (even though you can’t actually touch it) as Lego has special holes so that a child can still breathe if they swallow a brick. Thank god for that.
