If you haven’t managed to make it out east to the sparkly new Hackney Picture House yet, fear not as we can take you on a mini virtual tour to whet your appetite, literally.

Arrive in good time to grab a spot at one of the picnic tables for some well above average cinema grub.

The cinema bar makes an excellent venue for people-watching.

No trip to the flicks is complete without a hotdog. Especially when there is sauerkraut involved.

Or perhaps a popcorn cupcake?

Or snap up a gingerbread moustache. You are in Hackney after all (and it is Movember).

Pick up some cinema snacks under the colourful ceiling which features names of the Founder Members (the first people to get their Hackney Picturehouse memberships).

Head on up to your screen, hunker down and enjoy. If you fancy a cheap evening out, Monday is the time to go as all tickets are at bargain prices.
