East Berlin comes to Commercial Street

Stencil artist EVOL is coming to ‘Pictures on Walls’ studio on Commercial Street on December 2 (to December 23) to give London a taste of his miniature urban art. EVOL uses street furniture, such as cable boxes and electrical casing, and rebuilds them to create exact mini replicas of the East Berlin estate where he lives, transforming them with intricate tiny windows and graffiti. This show will see the rise of a bleak city-scape of painted discarded city objects. Lydia Shellien-Walker
