Harry Potter: see the wizardry behind the magic
Considering how much time and effort (not to mention cash) went into creating the sets, props and costumes for the Harry Potter films it’s no wonder that Warner Bros. are keen to show them off a bit before they’re put away for good. The Making of Harry Potter opens at the Warner Bros. Studio in Watford on 31 March 2012, but you’ll need to book tickets now if you want to pay a visit. Take a seat in the Great Hall or sneak through the Gryffindor common room, see rows of gruesome goblin heads and meet Fawkes the phoenix. Of course real wizards don’t need to use all this mechanical trickery, but it’s not half bad for a load of muggles.
For info, see The Making of Harry Potter listing.
