Don’t be a boar, head to Once Upon A Wintertime festival
For a feast of epic proportions, head down to Hackney Studios December 16-17 (6pm-3am Fri, 4pm-3am Sat), and graze on an 80 foot banqueting table piled with a whole wild boar. The slap-up feast is part of the Once Upon A Wintertime pop-up festival which has teamed up with eat.st and is spread over 70,000 square feet for two days. For those who prefer street food to chunky animals, there will be a whole selection of food stalls including Lucky Chip, The Bowler and Homeslice. Work off the treats at the festival’s in-house roller disco (set in a dystopian woodlands), browse the stalls or exhibitions organised by Art Against Knives, The Amazings and Pamphlet. Tickets are advance £15, £20 on the door. Looks like it will be a happy ending for one and all.
