The considerate folk behind the Secret Garden Party are not making us wait until next summer for the next installment of theatrical merriment and alternative indieness. This weekend for one day only 18 December (11am-10pm), they are holding the Secret Emporium Christmas Market, championing talent of the future with collections from emerging designers, milliners, ceramicists and illustrators. They promise a Dickensian wonderland with mulled cider and mince pies at the Village Underground, featuring live performances and a Grand Christmas Tree Auction from which all proceeds will go to homeless charities. Bring your moneybags and your merriment, but keep it under your hat – t’is a secret afterall.
