Search for buried treasure with a map of your local high street
‘London – a city made of pork scratchings and warm ale. Where city folk mingle with skinny jeaned hombres on fixed wheel beauties. Where ladies sip lattes and bounce mini them on bended knee. Where quiffs and toffs strut and traders sing their wares, two for a pand, two for a pand. A city without walls, but full of pride.’
We couldn’t have put it better ourselves. Artist, storyteller, dreamer and historian Vic Lee clearly shares our love of this fair city and to prove it, he has drawn these lovely prints of local high streets celebrating the eccentricity of neighbourhoods around the capital and really capturing the joy of city living. Where ever you live, do your locale proud by taking it into your home and give it a pride of place on your wall.
