For anyone who feels as if they haven’t done quite enough shopping over the Christmas period and fancies some live music as a backdrop to their pillaging of high-end sales racks, then Harrods is here to help. The Knightsbridge store opens its sale doors at 9am on Tuesday December 27, after which time Florence And The Machine will play an unplugged set of songs from current album ‘Ceremonials’. Should you see bargains such as a red Lanvin dress (slashed from £2,999 to a mere £1,500) fluttering on their hangers, it might well be the work of gale-force-piped recent Vogue cover star Ms Welch.
