Once again, this is east London’s answer to the Notting Hill Carnival: a local knees-up that the whole city wants to attend. Joanna Riding stars as a sexy wicked stepmother who struts, shimmies and grinds the urban proletariat under her heels like George Osborne channeling Nancy Dell’Olio. Until Jan 8.
Aladdin is spun into a larksome morality tale about the corrupting power of money, with some gentle digs at bankers and, delightfully, professional pub bore Jeremy Clarkson. Capitalist gazillionaires shouldn’t be afraid to take their offspring, though. Until Dec 31.
