A lucky few commuters on the central line this morning may have noticed something awry when a predominantly pink tube train pulled up to the platform of the usually red line. If you did see this and failed to spot the blatant advertising, your eyes weren’t deceiving you, this one off tube train is a stunt to promote the impending switch to digital TV that will be coming in to effect on April 4. If you missed it, don’t worry, it will be cruising the tunnels for the next three months with it’s bright pink handrails and 272 seats brightening up underground journey’s aplenty.
