Celebrities pick the sad songs that make them happy

Feeling GloomyAs mental health luminary Bob Hoskins spent much of the ‘80s saying, ‘It’s good to talk (about your moments of darkness)’. The last bit was silent. You know: like the ‘p’ in ‘psychology’. Anyway, in an attempt to raise awareness of mental health issues, Feeling Gloomy have teamed up with celebs such as Stephen Fry, Rob Da Bank, Alistair Campbell, Tim Key and That Dude Who Drums For The Smashing Pumpkins to create Spotify playlists of their favourite ‘sad songs that make you happy’. It’s well worth a look. Who’d have guessed that Stephen Fry likes George Michael? That Jo Brand likes Paolo Nutini? Or that Beverley Knight would pick such a selection of bangers? Well, mental health charity SANE, probably. This is all being done for their 25th anniversary, after all. Alexi Duggins
