Roll back the years and relive your skateboarding youth
Do you remember a time when skater kids were the coolest cats ever? I spent many an hour lusting after skater boys in my youth (me and Avril Lavigne both) and now I can relive my heady days of lust by literally ‘Rolling Back the Years’. Huck magazine and Lovenskate are teaming up to put on this exhibition at Red Gallery (January 13-15) of customised retro decks to celebrate the glory days of 80s’ skateboarding. Expect eight rad designs on display including one by the legendary Geoff Rowley. There’ll also be a pop-up shop selling Lovenskate gear, screen-prints of deck designs, magazines and Vans and Volcom x Jimbo Phillips tees. Totally awesome. Sonya Barber
