Three cheers for Stephen Hawking! Everyone’s favourite astrophysicist turned 70 on January 8, and the London Science Museum is celebrating with a special free exhibition that explores his scientific work and his public profile (January 20-April 9). It’ll be narrated by the great man himself, and will even feature bits and bobs from his private archives, highlighting aspects of an extraordinary career that has seen him wrestle with the origins of time (as you do) and make ‘fundamental contributions to cosmology’ (quite often before breakfast). Best of all, its an exhibition that’ll warm the cockles of the great man himself, taking place in what he has called ‘one of my favourite places’.
