Screw the map and explore with Crumpled City

Italian Design Company Palomar has come up with the solution to all our map based problems (of which we have many). How many times have you had an argument with your road trip buddies because you were holding the map upside down? Followed a road on a map that halfway down you’ve realised isn’t a road at all, but an eroded crease on the paper? Lost signal on your iPhone as you were following the map? Well fear not, my directionally challenged friends, the new Crumpled City range of maps can be screwed up, stepped on, dropped in a puddle and thrown in your bag without getting ruined. The soft, light and very strong material is designed to last no matter what it is put through, making map reading a great deal less frustrating. The maps are available for a range of cities and as well as the regular sightseeing spots, they also include an unusual list of ‘soulsights’ which are suggestions to satisfy the soul. As if we needed another excuse to explore this great city.
