Dust off your kilt for a Burns Night Ceilidh to remember

Posted at 12:30 pm, January 20, 2012 in Arts & Entertainment

Sorted what you’re doing for Burns night yet? Nae? Have we got the answer? Aye. On January 20, Hammersmith Town hall will open its doors to the Ceilidh club for a night of vigorous dancing. Limber up before hand to get ready for three hours of Scottish country dancing with attitude. Shortly followed by a buffet of all the Scottish favourites you’d expect to find – haggis (vegetarian or meat), neeps (turnips) and tatties (potatoes). Following tradition, the haggis will be piped in and there will then be a recital of the ‘Address to the Haggis’. Dust off your best tartan threads, and get dancing.

For info, see ceilidhclub.com.
