Back once again to celebrate the history of London Fields’ Lido, comes ‘Lido Love’ on Saturday 28 January, an eclectic festival of art and sound at this east London all-year-round, all weather watering hole. This year’s winter festival features a floating art installation by Emily Tracy, a giant game of human Scrabble, participatory theatre from Bad Physics, performances by artists Doug Fishbone and Patrick Coyle and entertainment from the original Lido band, Bon Bon Kaotikai. The House of Hot Breath will host some unusual Karaoke, and participants will have the chance to take part in a photoshoot with Riitta Ikonen. Sadly, there’s no boozing or swimming, but there should be plenty to whet your appetite.
