A unique chance to see a British contemporary artist at the very top of his game when Nick Waplington flies in from New York for the last day of his ‘Long Way Back From Nowhere – new work from the holy land’ show at the See Studio this Saturday January 28, which offers an inspired and occasionally odd take on the ongoing conflict between Israelis and Palestinians. Waplington, who among other things has worn a bear head at some of the West Bank’s hotter spots (see above), will lead a Q and A (4pm-6pm) in which ‘I will talk about my working process in the West Bank. I will also talk about my experiences in the region, the current political statement and anything else I can think of. This will be followed by beers.’
