Women of wonder: This is Girlcore

Ninety’s girl power is alive and kicking in Girlcore, an all-female collective promoting international female talent in the creative industries. In addition to supporting new DJ’s alongside the likes of veterans such as Peaches and Annie Mac, these talented ladies have created a website dedicated to promoting women in the visual arts. They’ve recently launched a book, ‘Girlcore Magazine’ and are now hosting an exhibition at the Orange Dot gallery in Bloomsbury (February 3-27) to celebrate their first publication, which aims to showcase new works from cutting edge female artists, including the painfully talented Boo Saville (skull below) and nine other women to watch.
