Wilton’s Music Hall saved (officially)
Last May, Time Out readers got behind the campaign to save Wilton’s Music Hall – a gorgeous piece of East End theatrical history and a fantastically atmospheric working theatre – from closure. Wilton’s raised £400,000 from their public appeal, and Independent Body SITA has now stumped up another £700,000 meaning that the future of this exceptional and beloved London building can be secured, through restoration works which will make it safe and keep it standing. Good news indeed.
