Time to start eggsploring the city
We all know un oeuf is never enough- but would 200 be sufficient? The Big Egg Hunt aims to find out starting on Shrove Tuesday (Feb 21), as London’s streets are transformed into the setting of an epic city wide Easter egg hunt challenging Londoners to try and spot the 200, two-and-a-half foot high eggs dotted around the capital. The hunt, which last 40 days and 40 nights is in aid of Elephant Family and Action for Children, with eggs decorated by artists, designers, architects and actors including Polly Morgan, MIA, Mulberry and Vivienne Westwood. The hunt hopes to raise at least 1 million pounds and all the eggs will eventually be sold at auction. With maps to collect and apps to download, get eggsploring. Didi Mae Hand
