We’ve all thought about recreating the Beatles’ Abbey Road album cover – but how about getting inside the studio where it was recorded? As part of their 80th anniversary celebrations the iconic Studio Two will be opening its doors to hardcore music fans. Bag a ticket for March (9/10/11/23/24/25) and get to see a whole bunch of unseen photographs, films, and recordings and hear talks from the authors of ‘Recording the Beatles’. There’ll also be a chance to get up close to some of the instruments, microphones and studio equipment used by various musical legends including The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Kate Bush.
For info, see seetickets.com.
We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to the ‘80 Years of Recording at Abbey Road Studios‘ lecture, worth £150. The competition is now closed.
