British Library's spring festivalThe Hot List is back and we’re bringing you our guide to all that’s hot in the capital. This week’s choice is the British Library’s Spring Festival, a cultural bonanza kicking off on March 1 (until March 4). The first day is free and includes a ‘Make it Sell it!’ session as part of the craft market. An ‘Art of Illustration’ panel follows the next day when speakers including the legendary Quentin Blake chat about their favourite illustrations. The after-hours session on the Friday night stars the ever ambient Mr Scruff, a vintage knitting session and an exploration of typography. Some sessions have already sold out so snap up tickets sharpish.

For info, see The Time Out Hot List.
