Watching Wales storm to victory over England this weekend, it was hard to believe St David himself wasn’t watching over the Welsh Rugby team and what better way to celebrate their victory than with a week of foodie fun. In commemoration of St David’s Day on March 1, the Real Food Market and True Taste have collaborated to showcase Welsh produce including lamb, cheese, chocolate and, fingers crossed, a wide selection of leeks on the South Bank (March 2-4). There are products to buy and cookery demos to watch from the likes of Rhodri Edwards and Michelin starred Chef James Sommerin. In addition to the South Bank’s market, John Lewis on Oxford Street will be hosting a cheese master class on the March 1 while Partridges on the Kings Road and Waitrose in Canary Wharf will be stocking a host of Welsh treats, including beers and whiskies for customers to sample. Mwynhewch dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant! Didi Mae Hand
