Drinks and dancing at Dalston’s Ridley Road Market Bar
Wham! would feel right at home here – a ‘PC & Furniture Sales’ shop that was last year deftly transformed into a holi-holiday tropical bar in the middle of Ridley Road Market. There’s a chequered dancefloor, fake wood vener panelling, glitterballs and piles of exotic fruit – it’s fabulously tacky and great fun, although this being Dalston, there are DJs playing far cooler tunes than Michael and Ridgely made. It’s open late at the weekend and cocktails are a generous fiver.
