Beer. Hot dogs. Free entry. Sounds good so far? Well it gets better. The Camden Town microbrewery is opening its doors to the public for the first time, to taste and celebrate their first batch of US-style lager. On Saturday March 3 their premises will be thrown open for an All-American party, complete with top dogs provided by Abiye Cole’s The Big Apple Hot Dogs cart. ‘For us, what’s exciting is that we can open up the brewery and people can come and visit us and see where we make the beer. Plus you can’t beat drinking in a brewery!’ says owner Jasper Cuppaidge. Camden Town Brewery is one of a score of new microbreweries creating craft brews to have opened in London. The food and drink at Camden Town Brewery is not free, incidentally – the lager costs £4 a pint (Four-Ex it ain’t), while the hot dogs cost from £2.50 to £3.50. Vanessa Cappelli
