Meet the Chatsworth Road locals
Hackney based photographer Jørn Tomter has been documenting the Chatsworth Road area where he lives since 2007 but after last summer’s riots, he decided to step it up a gear. Aiming to give a face and voice to the neighbourhood he photographed local people, business and shops and the project has now come together in a new website. To celebrate the launch, Jørn is throwing a party on Saturday March 3 at 33 Chatsworth Road (the old dentists) from 6-10pm with music, homemade cake, local food and BYOB. As well as regularly updating the site, Jørn is also planning to host a pop-up photography studio to get local youth involved and teach them about photography. Pop down and show your support.
