Future Cinema brings back ‘Bugsy Malone’ by popular demand

Posted at 8:30 am, March 9, 2012 in Arts & Entertainment

Bugsy MaloneIt seems to kind of defeat the point of Secret Cinema by revealing the film beforehand but their 2009 production of ‘Bugsy Malone’ at the Troxy was such a smash that Future Cinema (the creators of Secret Cinema) are bringing it back, with a vengeance from March 16 to April 14. The Troxy seems to be a popular choice for these guys at the moment, but it is a rather lovely venue to watch a film and will be the perfect setting for a prohibition ambience, complete with boxing ring, speakeasy, casino, Fat Sam’s bookshop and custard shooting guns. There will be matinee performances for the kiddiewinkles (which may get messy) and concessions for Tower Hamlets residents to get the local community involved.

Book now at Future Cinema presents Bugsy Malone listing.
