Cheap, cheerful, fashion that’s piled jumble-style has been Pull & Bear’s specialty for some two decades. But the Spanish brand has recently upped the ante with striking campaign imagery, cool hook ups and fresh new collections – just look to the lovely men’s ‘heritage’ line as modelled by US singer/songwriter Bryan John Appleby. Perhaps in a bid to reflect this sleek approach, the Pull & Bear flagship store on Oxford Circus has had a facelift and now sports a clean new look inspired by New York lofts and our digitally interactive age (read industrial design and an in-store photo booth that let’s you share your new look via Facebook). To celebrate, Pull & Bear is holding a 12-hour shindig on Friday March 23 (9am-9pm) complete with all the usual party elements: live music (from Lucy Rose, China Rats and Is Tropical); ice-cream; and special treats – namely, a 50% discount and free breakfast for the first 100 people through the doors.
