Jotta’s workshops are the bee’s knees
Curious about how to make a textile hive for bees? Well, frankly so are we. This is just one of the workshops happening this week (until March 29) in celebration of collaborative hub Jotta’s third birthday. Drawing from an eclectic pool of artists and designers all involved in truly mind-boggling projects, the week is full of exciting events. Tomorrow (1pm) Xiao Fei, fresh from his stint at the Kinetica Art Fair shows you how to make your own mini doodle machine using bamboo, wood, rubber bands and an old toy motor, before Avant Gardening begin their poster zine workshop (5.30pm). Bees Beside Us rounds up the week’s celebrations as Amy Pliszka discusses her textile bee hives as part of a fascinating free talk. Didi Mae Hand
