London’s top 20 music venues revealed
We asked you to have your say and you did – in your thousands. This week, we feature a countdown of the capital’s top 20 live music venues, as voted for by you, the Time Out readers and it ranges from the great and grandly designed to the small and architecturally unremarkable. From pedigrees like the Royal Albert Hall to mongrels such as The Windmill, they all got you voting. In the end, just three votes came between the winner – the Union Chapel (above) – and the runner-up, Cecil Sharp House. Read how they all shape up, plus what stars like Florence Welch and Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll have to say about their own personal favourite London venues in Time Out magazine, out tomorrow.
