Food for thought at the Last Supper

Last Supper

Ever wondered what robots chat about over dinner? Giles Walker has spent a year creating ‘Last Supper’, a fully animated mechanical sculpture with 13 moving figures now on display at the Black Rat Project space in east London until April 5. There are religious and political references abound in their creepy sombre banter, but whether you pick up on them or just enjoy the spectacle, this is a remarkable piece of engineering and worth a look.
