Victorian squalor explored at the Museum of London

‘Darkest London’ welcomes visionary author Iain Sinclair and academic Sebastian Groes to discuss depictions of Victorian London for a one-off debate at the Museum of London tomorrow (Wednesday, April 25. ) Sinclair, a celebrated psychogeographer will be considering the capital’s depiction in the literature of Charles Dickens and his contemporaries, exploring the extent to which the squalor, oppression, crime and darkness was in fact a reality. Tickets cost £6 and advanced booking is required.
