The London Coffee festival

Buzz up to the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane this weekend (Fri-Sun, 27-29 April), which will will play host to the second annual London Coffee Festival, the flagship event of UK Coffee Week. Join the rest of the coffee-loving community from independent coffee shop owners to professional baristas (Friday is trade day), in a celebration of all things roasted and ground. The line-up includes demos, tastings and masterclasses, plus there’s live music and two dedicated food areas: one for street food (from burgers to Indian wraps), the other for deli goods (from charcuterie to olives). 50% of all ticket sales will be donated to Project Waterfall, which provides clean water to communities in Tanzania. Standard tickets are priced at £9.50 (or £12.50 on the door).

For info, see London Coffee festival listings.
