Take a trip back in time with vintage Jubilee films
With the Queen marking 60 years on the throne next month, this is as good a time as any to take a jolly jaunt down memory lane and Picturehouse cinemas have come up with just the ticket. Together with the London Screen Archives, they’ve dug up vintage jubilee and coronation footage for a series of heartwarming ‘Reminiscence’ screenings that transport you back in time from May 10-17. See how Londoners marked the occasion in ye olden days with street parties and fancy dress parades galore and watch footage of the Queen being crowned in 1952.
