Comfort, coffee and cake in Peckham
Gone shopping in Peckham and need a pick-me-up? Now, after a day’s jostling in Primark or queuing in the pound shops, you can revive yourself with a trip to newcomer Café Viva. It’s a simple place, offering a menu of comfort food, coffee (from West Norwood’s Volcano Coffee Works) and cake. We like the owner’s home-made banana bread: served by the slice, or with greek yoghurt and berries.
