Prepare to swoon. Wes Anderson’s new film ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ is out on Friday and in our humblest this might be his best yet (okay, so it’s a close call with ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’). This heart-melting love story follows a pair of 12-year-old misfits, Sam and Suzy, who are in love and on the run. Remember how life-and-death serious love felt at 12? Watch the film and it’ll all come flooding back. Everything is giddily eccentric in that dark-hearted Wes Anderson-ish way, and as usual he’s cast a clutch of your favourite actors (Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton and Bruce Willis as the saddest cop in the world). In an interview in this week’s Time Out, Anderson explained his reasons for making the film: ‘More than anything this story comes from what I wished was happening to me when I was that age.’
