Her royal treatment: get a majestic pampering
We’re quite sure Her Maj is getting primped and preened for her big Jubilee weekend, so it’s only polite that we do the same. Thankfully, a few London beauty destinations are making the task a little less pricey with some glorious Jubilee-themed deals.
Sanctuary, for example, are knocking £40 off the £139 Best of British package, which includes full use of the spa facilities for the day, a 25 minute treatment of your choice and very proper English cream tea. If £99 is too much, or you don’t have all day, the Covent Garden outpost is also offering 15% off all products bought (as well as treatments booked) on June 4.
For those already in the party mood, Urban Retreat at Home has organised a Jubilee Tea Party, which sees therapists arrive at your house ready to pamper five or more of your friends. The three-hour invasion includes a mini manicure or pedicure together with a mini massage for every guest, plus a free bottle of fizz and some cupcakes. Look to pay £237 if you live in central London (that’s Westminster, Chelsea, Kensington and the City) or £175 for the rest of the town – not too bad divvied up between six.
Elemis are also getting in on the act, with a trio of ‘Royal Treatments’ at its Mayfair day spa. Packages range from the ‘Countess of Glow’ (including a skin-boosting facial and mini manicure for £50) to the ‘Supreme Queen’ (an anti-aging facial, hand treatment and manicure for £135).
