Diamond Jubilee Tea Party

As you will probably know, this weekend streets across London will be replacing parked cars with trestle tables and stringing up the bunting ready  for the 60th anniversary of The Queen’s coronation. So it seems only right that the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea get in on the act. Just yards away from the start of the procession on Sunday June 3, organisers are intent on making this the most regal of all tea parties with a Queen look-a-like, royal footmen and even a military band to play you through your cucumber sandwiches. Entertainment for the day includes a dress-up photo booth, a giant LCD screen broadcasting the procession, and a ‘tea with the queen’ fancy dress competition. Pinkies at the ready.
