Brilliant Berlin theatre company Rimini Protokoll needs to recruit the last 10 volunteers for its human portrait of our very own city. Billed as a ‘human statistical chain reaction’, ‘100% London’ (which plays at the Hackney Empire for four performances from June 29 – July 1) aims to turn statistics into real people. It will put 100 everyday Londoners onstage, each of whom statistically represents 1% of the capital’s 7.8 million population. Are you a man? Do you live in Bromley, Croydon, Richmond, Kingston, Merton, Sutton, Hammersmith and Fulham, Brent, Ealing, Hounslow, Harrow, Hillingdon, Haringey, Enfield, Barnet or Waltham Forest? Did you tick ‘white British’ or ‘other non-white’ on your census? Are you free on the weekend of June 29 – July 1? And would you like to tell Rimini Protokoll how you, London, really think and feel?
