Discover the role of drag in Eastern Europe at @RichMixLondon
Artist and curator Dzmitry Suslau is bringing his exhibition, ‘Eastern Europe in Drag’, to the RichMix this Saturday June 16 (3-6pm). The show examines how traditional gender roles are questioned by drag queens and kings in Poland, Belarus and Ukraine today. This is one of the first curated projects of LGBT subcultures in post-communist Europe and is designed to invite audiences to examine homophobia, gay visibility and marriage equality using photographs, videos and interviews. Dzmitry will be at the exhibition to lead a discussion and answer your questions at 4pm. Carly-Ann Clements
