A match made in Time Out towers: Daniel Radcliffe and Slow Club collaborate
Back in February, you may remember, we were lucky enough to have Daniel Radcliffe guest edit an issue of Time Out. He took to the task with enthusiasm and verve, braving Time Out towers, heading up an editorial meeting and taking the time to have a word with the film section’s Tom Huddleston who dedicated a portion of his sanity to watching seven instalments of Harry Potter back-to-back. But the 22-year-old was particularly thrilled to take charge of the music section – with his main objective to interview Sheffield folk-pop duo Slow Club. And it appears that by bringing the trio together we have been instrumental in their blossoming, because Radcliffe is now the star of their latest video for single ‘Beginners’. Shot in one take it features an inebriated Radcliffe stumbling about in an empty pub, downing drinks, angstily emoting and looking decidedly worse for wear. Just call us the new Cilla.
