Open your mind at the Wide Open School

Wide Open School

100 artists. From 40 countries. In London. At the Hayward Gallery. All ready to lead workshops, lectures, discussions and performances in anything and everything in between until July 11. Despite featuring some seriously exciting artists taking part, these are not technically traditional art classes (although you can indulge in some painting, sketching, body painting etc). Instead, this is an ‘unusual experiment in public learning’, which we are taking to mean a diverse range of creative classes to get you thinking. And, boy, is there some cool looking stuff all at amazingly reasonable prices (most sessions are £10). I have already signed up for Jochen Dehn’s workshop on negotiating the cityscape without being seen (invisibility here I come!) and am planning on devoting many more hours to expanding my mind in the next few weeks.
