Calling all wannabe Leigh Bowerys for Boy George’s new musical…
Are you a) larger than life; b) outrageous, in character and physicality; c) channeling the spirit of the late Leigh Bowery? If so, Boy George needs you to be the star of his musical ‘Taboo’ about 1980s counter-culture at Brixton Club House. Auditions are taking place on June 29 (10.30-2pm) and auditionees are invited to dress up, bring sheet music and be prepared to pay fitting flamboyant tribute to this legendary performance artist, fashionista and club kid maverick. Wallflowers need not apply.
